Monthly Composite drought index (CDI)
A monthly Composite drought index (CDI) – is used for drought assessment. It considers the causative variables of multi drought forms (mainly meteorological and agricultural) and aggregates their effect by integrating several remotely sensed data sets from NASA and other U.S. agencies and modeled data sets in ICBA into a composite drought indicator.
